School Psychologist in Smith River, CA

Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master's or higher degree in School Psychology or related field
- Valid credential authorizing service as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with TK–9th grade students preferred
- Familiarity with educational assessments, IEP process, and intervention plans
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Commitment to promoting the well-being and academic growth of diverse student populations
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and provide timely evaluation reports
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) for eligible students
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to recommend evidence-based interventions
- Support crisis prevention and response initiatives
- Facilitate small group or individual counseling sessions
- Maintain accurate case records and documentation in compliance with all regulations
