Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Valid School Psychologist licensure/certification in Nebraska (or eligibility to obtain)
- Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology or a related discipline
- Proven experience with school-based psychological evaluations, counseling, and behavioral interventions
- Strong knowledge of child development, assessment tools, and IEP/504 planning
- Excellent communication and consultation skills with students, parents, and staff
- Experience working with elementary-aged children preferred
Primary Responsibilities:
- Administer psychological and educational assessments to identify students’ needs
- Develop and support individualized education plans, interventions, and data-driven recommendations
- Deliver direct counseling services and crisis support as needed
- Consult with educators and parents to design and implement behavior management strategies
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to positive school climate initiatives
- Maintain detailed records and documentation in accordance with school and district policies
