Qualifications:
- Valid South Carolina School Psychologist license (required)
- Experience in schools as a School Psychologist or Special Education Teacher
- Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Commitment to supporting diverse learners and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments, observations, and counseling sessions with students
- Participate in eligibility determination meetings and contribute to IEP development
- Advise and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents on interventions and academic supports
- Provide crisis intervention and support positive behavioral initiatives throughout the school community
- Document services and maintain timely, organized records consistent with district and state requirements
- Engage actively in staff and collaboration meetings, sharing insights that contribute positively to student outcomes
