Key Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist credential for Minnesota (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience working with K-12 student populations preferred
- Strong assessment, consultation, and intervention skills
- Ability to collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators
- Familiarity with developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Problem-solving mindset and genuine interest in supporting student wellbeing
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments for K-12 students to identify learning, behavioral, and emotional needs
- Interpret assessment results and provide recommendations for instructional strategies and interventions
- Collaborate as an integral member of the student support team, participating in IEP meetings and Response to Intervention (RTI) processes
- Deliver counseling and crisis management services as needed
- Consult with teachers, families, and staff to design positive behavioral supports and interventions
- Maintain thorough, confidential records and timely documentation
- Stay current with best practices and new developments in school psychology
