Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid state license or certification as a School Psychologist
- Experience working in school settings, preferably with elementary-aged children
- Strong understanding of developmentally appropriate assessments and interventions
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, students, and families
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Commitment to ethical standards and confidentiality
- Up-to-date on fingerprinting and background check requirements
- Comfortable utilizing virtual meeting platforms for team meetings and interviews
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and develop individualized student recommendations
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to create and support student interventions
- Lead or participate in IEP and eligibility meetings
- Provide crisis intervention and consultation as needed
- Maintain thorough, timely documentation and reports in compliance with district standards
- Support the overall mental health and well-being of the school community through prevention and intervention services
