Responsibilities include:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and offer recommendations tailored to diverse student needs
- Develop, implement, and review Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Deliver direct and consultative psychological services to students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing
- Facilitate social-emotional and behavioral interventions, providing counseling and support to students, families, and staff
- Monitor student progress, maintain thorough documentation, and comply with all federal, state, and local regulations
- Provide crisis intervention and consult with educators and parents to promote best practices in supporting student well-being
Qualifications:
- Current certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience working within school environments, particularly with students with disabilities or special needs
- Familiarity with American Sign Language (preferred), or willingness to collaborate with interpreters
- Strong assessment, consultation, and advocacy skills
- Ability to travel between Santa Fe and Albuquerque on a regular basis
