Key Qualifications:
- Active Kansas Psychologist License required
- Experience with K-12 students preferred
- Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
- Comfortable traveling to nearby districts as needed
- Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments
- Provide individual and group counseling to students
- Develop and implement evidence-based intervention strategies
- Consult with teachers, administrators, families, and staff regarding student needs
- Help design and support behavior management plans
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with all regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team discussions, and district initiatives
- Remain up-to-date with best practices in school psychology and state/federal guidelines
