Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure/certification as a school psychologist
- Familiarity conducting psychoeducational evaluations and interpreting data
- Effective communication and consultation skills with students, staff, and families
- Experience developing and implementing behavior intervention and support plans
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Previous school-based experience preferred, though new graduates are welcome to apply
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students’ academic, behavioral, and emotional needs
- Collaborate with educational teams to develop and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Provide individual and group counseling as needed
- Support the implementation of Response to Intervention (RTI) initiatives
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to promote effective strategies and supports
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with state and district guidelines
