Desired qualifications and experience:
- Valid School Psychologist certification appropriate for K-12 educational settings
- Demonstrated experience or strong graduate practicum with psychological assessments, IEP processes, and student interventions
- Familiarity with developing and implementing support plans for diverse student populations
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work within multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to ethical standards and sensitive handling of confidential information
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and assessments across K-12 grade levels
- Attend and participate in IEP and student support meetings, sharing insights and recommendations for student success
- Provide direct interventions, counseling, and consultative support to students, families, and staff
- Work closely with teachers, administration, and other School Psychologists to create effective strategies promoting positive student development
- Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with school and regulatory requirements
