Elementary School Psychologist in Lenoir, NC

Beginning August 4th, 2026 and concluding June 1st, 2026, you'll provide vital psychological services across three elementary school sites. The position supports a hybrid model, allowing the flexibility to blend on-site and remote work as you serve a diverse caseload.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Hold a valid School Psychologist certification or credential
- Previous experience supporting elementary-aged children preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
- Ability to effectively manage a multi-site caseload
- Familiarity with report writing, assessments, and developing IEPs
- Adaptable with a commitment to inclusive practices and student success
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and assessments for elementary students
- Collaborate with special education teams, families, and educators to develop individualized support plans
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and provide input for RTI and MTSS processes
- Deliver individual and group counseling as needed
- Contribute to crisis intervention, consultation, and behavioral support strategies
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with district and state requirements
- Support a positive, nurturing school environment across all assigned campuses
