What you’ll need to succeed:
• Valid licensure or certification as a School Psychologist in Texas
• Previous experience working with K-12 students preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with educators, students, and families
• Ability to conduct assessments, develop intervention plans, and contribute to IEP processes
• Flexible, professional, and positive approach to diverse school settings
• Commitment to supporting the social, emotional, and academic needs of all students
• Availability for full-time, in-person work through the end of the school year
Key responsibilities include:
• Conducting psychoeducational evaluations and interpreting assessment results
• Providing individual and group counseling to students as needed
• Participating in multidisciplinary teams and supporting IEP development
• Consulting with teachers, administrators, and families to implement interventions
• Supporting crisis intervention and response teams when required
• Maintaining accurate documentation and adhering to state and district compliance guidelines
