Make a meaningful difference as a contracted School Psychologist, working onsite full-time with diverse students for the 2026-2027 academic year. You’ll serve an integral role in supporting student learning, mental health, and positive behavioral outcomes in a dynamic school setting.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in School Psychology (required)
- State certification as a School Psychologist
- At least two years of experience, including a completed internship in a school psychology setting
- Strong skills in psychoeducational assessment, report writing, and interpreting evaluation results
- Expertise in counseling individuals and groups, using evidence-based mental health strategies
- Collaborative approach with teachers, parents, administrators, and community agencies
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Excellent spoken and written communication for interaction with diverse audiences
- Proficient in technology for testing, reporting, and communications
- Physically able to meet the job’s demands, with occasional light lifting (5-10 pounds), periods of sitting/standing, and use of office equipment
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Conducting comprehensive psychoeducational and psychological evaluations
- Interpreting test results and effectively communicating findings to families and staff
- Providing direct counseling and crisis intervention for students as needed
- Strategically consulting with school teams to support academic, social, and behavioral success
- Participating in IEP development and multidisciplinary placement meetings
- Coordinating crisis management at both individual school and district levels
- Keeping up-to-date records, reports, Medicaid forms, and compliance documentation
- Staying current on professional legislation, innovation, and best practices
