This contract opportunity offers the chance to work across PreK-12th grade, serving a diverse caseload in a collaborative school environment. The position begins as soon as possible and extends through the end of the current school year, with the option to continue for the 2026-2027 academic year.
Key Qualifications:
- Current Colorado School Psychologist license
- CDE authorization for School Social Worker or Mental Health Counselor
- Experience working with PreK-12 students preferred
- Strong assessment, counseling, and crisis intervention skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Effective communication and collaboration with students, staff, and families
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of approximately 35 students across PreK through 12th grade
- Conduct evaluations, screenings, and functional behavior assessments
- Provide counseling services and crisis intervention as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student needs
- Participate in multi-disciplinary teams and contribute to the development of IEPs
- Assist in developing strategies for academic and behavioral interventions
- Maintain thorough documentation and comply with all reporting requirements
- Work a student-centered schedule (Monday - Thursday, 4-day school week)
