Step into a vital role supporting student success as a school psychologist in a dynamic K-8 educational setting near Denver, CO. This contract opportunity spans the academic year from August 3rd, 2026, through May 21st, 2027, providing a chance to make a positive impact on scholars' well-being and academic achievement.

As part of a team serving a school community of approximately 1,000 students, you will collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to address students' diverse needs. With a caseload anticipated between 10 and 20 students, assignments may be split between K-4 and 5-8 grade levels based on enrollment and student requirements.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid state certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Experience or strong interest in school-based settings, particularly K-8
  • Proficiency in conducting assessments and providing individual and group counseling
  • Ability to consult with staff, develop intervention strategies, and facilitate student support plans
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills

Primary Duties:

  • Conduct psychological and academic evaluations to identify student needs
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education programs and intervention plans
  • Provide counseling, crisis management, and social-emotional support for students
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to promote positive learning environments
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and district initiatives as needed

This position features a structured schedule of Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., allowing for work-life balance during the school year.
