This opportunity runs ASAP through May 21, 2027, with fully in-person placements only. Two dynamic roles are available: one with the district-level assessment team and another with the Child Find Evaluation Team at North Star Elementary. What we’re seeking:
- Active Colorado Department of Education Special Service License (SSL) with School Psychologist endorsement (Ages 0–21)
- Experience conducting cognitive assessments and evaluations in educational environments
- Strong background in school-based psychological practices, evaluation procedures, and knowledge of Child Find processes
- For bilingual roles: fluency in English and a second language is preferred; Early Childhood Special Education teachers with bilingual skills are also encouraged to apply for this team
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
- Ability to work 37.5 hours per week in-person (no telehealth or hybrid options)
- Capability to manage assigned caseloads across single or multiple schools
Key responsibilities:
- Complete thorough cognitive and psychological assessments as part of a district-level evaluation team
- Conduct Child Find evaluations at North Star Elementary and additional locations as needed
- Offer clear, actionable feedback for student support planning
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and families to foster positive educational outcomes
- Maintain compliance with district and state guidelines; ensure all required paperwork and contractor processes are completed promptly
