This contract position, located near Littleton, CO, is fully on-site and offers the opportunity to engage with district-level assessment teams and specialized evaluation groups.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing cognitive and comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for students, supporting 4-6 schools within the district as a member of the assessment team.
- Conducting Child Find assessments at North Star Elementary, focusing on early identification and intervention needs.
- Participating in district-level bilingual Child Find evaluations at multiple sites, including North Star and Centennial Elementary, if you have the relevant language skills.
- Collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to determine eligibility and recommend services for diverse learners.
- Maintaining meticulous evaluation documentation and partnering closely with district personnel throughout your assignments.
- Supporting students across a range of ages and backgrounds (Ages 0–21, depending on assignment).
Ideal candidates will have:
- Current CO DOE Special Service License (SSL) with School Psychologist endorsement (Ages 0-21).
- Experience performing cognitive and psychoeducational evaluations within school settings.
- Sensitivity to diverse populations; bilingual skills and/or early childhood evaluation experience highly valued.
- Flexibility, strong communication skills, and confidence working both independently and as part of district-level teams.
- Commitment to on-site work only (no remote or hybrid).
These assignments are 37.5 hours per week, spanning ASAP through late May 2027, with one school per assignment. A contractor credentialing packet is required prior to the start date.
