School Psychologist - Littleton, CO
Step into a vital role supporting students' mental health and educational progress in the greater Littleton, CO area. This full-time, contract position focuses on providing comprehensive psychological services within a high school setting, with other assignments available on evaluation teams and district-level roles. You will be instrumental in delivering mental health services, conducting assessments, and supporting students with diverse needs, including those with special education and affective or significant support requirements.
Your assignment will be on-site only, working exclusively in person at one school campus per contract. High school psychologist and social worker positions are currently open, as well as evaluation team roles focused on Child Find assessments at elementary schools. Bilingual professionals are also encouraged to apply for district-level evaluation teams.
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Active Colorado Department of Education Special Service License with School Psychologist endorsement (ages 0-21) is required
- School-based experience as a school psychologist or school social worker; SPED experience is especially valued
- Ability to work collaboratively within school teams and across disciplines
- Experience serving students with mild to significant needs and providing mental health support as part of IEP teams
- Flexibility to serve on Child Find evaluation teams (elementary and district level, including bilingual positions)
- Strong communication, assessment, and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive mental health services to students in high school or elementary settings
- Conduct assessments and evaluations for special education eligibility (including Child Find)
- Collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers
- Support the creation and implementation of IEPs
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation
This position offers a consistent weekly schedule of 37.5 hours per week, with contracts extending through the school year. Credentialing is time-sensitive, and you must complete a district-specific contractor packet before starting.
