Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Colorado Department of Education Special Service License with School Psychologist endorsement (Ages 0-21)
- Previous experience conducting cognitive evaluations or Child Find assessments within school settings
- Bilingual skills are highly valued, particularly for assignments involving district-level or early childhood evaluations
- Strong knowledge of special education processes, evaluation protocols, and child development
- Ability to complete required contractor documentation before assignment begins
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a dedicated psychologist on a district-level or assessment team, supporting 4–6 school sites or focused evaluation locations
- Provide thorough cognitive, academic, behavioral, and Child Find evaluations, working both individually and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Deliver comprehensive psychological reports and participate in eligibility determination meetings
- Collaborate with educators, families, and administration to support students’ learning and mental health
- Bilingual professionals may conduct evaluations for linguistically diverse populations in partnership with ECSE staff
You’ll have a consistent schedule of 37.5 hours per week during the school year, focused solely on impactful, in-person services within supportive environments.
