School Psychologist - Longmont, CO
Make a difference as a dedicated school psychologist supporting elementary students for the 2026-2027 academic year. As a valued team member, you’ll collaborate with educators, staff, and families to foster growth and create effective support systems for students. Key Qualifications:
- Active, current CDE School Psychologist license (required)
- Prior professional experience working as a school psychologist
- In-depth knowledge of special education law, multi-tiered systems of support, and crisis intervention
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Compassion, flexibility, and commitment to fostering student development
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments across elementary age groups
- Deliver individual and group counseling to support student mental health and social-emotional learning
- Provide ongoing consultation and support to teachers, parents, and staff regarding behavioral, academic, and mental health needs
- Contribute to the development and implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) through multi-disciplinary team meetings
- Support crisis prevention and intervention efforts campus-wide
- Participate in school-wide initiatives, interventions, and continuous improvement processes
This position offers the fulfillment of playing a key role in students’ academic and emotional growth while working within a collaborative and mission-driven school community. The contract runs from August 2026 through May 2027, allowing you to immerse yourself fully in the school year alongside passionate educators.
