In this contract role, you'll work onsite across two welcoming schools, serving a diverse K-5 population. As a key collaborator within multidisciplinary teams, your expertise will help shape a positive and inclusive learning climate throughout the academic year.
Key Qualifications:
- Active and current CDE School Psychologist License is required
- Demonstrated experience working as a School Psychologist within school environments
- Strong knowledge of assessment, intervention, and consultation practices
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with educators, families, and related service professionals
- Proficient at managing documentation and case files in accordance with school district and state guidelines
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive psychological evaluations and report findings for students referred for assessment
- Develop and implement evidence-based intervention plans to support student social, emotional, and academic growth
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families on Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and support services
- Offer consultation and training to staff regarding behavioral and academic concerns
- Participate in problem-solving and response-to-intervention teams to promote student well-being
- Assist in crisis intervention and the development of prevention programs
