Key Qualifications:
- Washington State certification as a School Psychologist (required)
- Proven experience working with children at the elementary or middle school level
- Understanding of various disabilities and best practices in psychological assessment and intervention
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams, students, and families
- Skilled in data-driven decision making and documentation in accordance with state and federal guidelines
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and psychoeducational assessments
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct and consultative services addressing students’ academic, behavioral, and emotional needs
- Participate in eligibility determination meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Help create a safe, inclusive, and supportive school environment
- Serve as a resource on child development, crisis intervention, and mental health topics
You’ll enjoy a predictable Monday-Friday schedule, working 7 hours each day, providing meaningful support and advocacy for students throughout the school year. The role offers compensation in the competitive range of $55 to $65 per hour, reflecting your expertise and commitment.
