Your expertise will be vital in conducting psychological evaluations aimed at understanding students’ emotional, behavioral, and academic challenges. Using your comprehensive training, you’ll administer, score, and interpret psychoeducational assessments, contribute to team meetings, and help develop support plans tailored to individual needs.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist License
- DESE (Department of Elementary and Secondary Education) Licensure required
- Experience working with elementary-aged children in a school setting preferred
- Proficiency conducting psychological and psychoeducational assessments
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform psychological evaluations to identify student needs across emotional, behavioral, and learning domains
- Administer standardized assessment tools
- Accurately score and interpret results to inform intervention strategies
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families regarding student cases and best practices
- Participate in Individualized Education Plan (IEP) meetings
- Maintain meticulous documentation as required by policies and best practice standards
