School Psychologist | Maple Grove, Minnesota
Make an impact in the educational community near Maple Grove, MN by supporting students’ wellbeing and academic success. As a contract School Psychologist, you’ll provide expert guidance and interventions to help students overcome challenges and thrive. This position is structured at 0.4 FTE, working approximately 15 hours per week, Monday through Friday, onsite during the 2026-2027 school year.
Essential Qualifications:
- Valid Minnesota School Psychologist license (required)
- Demonstrated experience in school-based psychological services
- Strong knowledge of assessment, intervention, and consultation best practices
- Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities with students, staff, and families
- Flexibility to work independently and proactively in a dynamic school environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for students needing individualized support
- Partner with educators, families, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective intervention plans
- Support social-emotional learning and behavioral health across assigned caseload
- Provide crisis intervention and ensure compliance with special education laws and regulations
- Maintain accurate documentation and timely reports required for student services
This opportunity allows you to focus on what you do best—helping students succeed—while benefiting from a predictable schedule and meaningful day-to-day engagement with the school community. The district values dedication and is open to considering a licensed School Social Worker for this role if onsite psychological services are not available.
