- Valid certification in School Psychology (P-12)
- Previous experience working in a school-based or pediatric setting (preferred)
- Ability to conduct thorough student assessments, provide timely counseling, and collaborate effectively with educators and families
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Flexibility, adaptability, and a commitment to fostering inclusive learning environments
Key responsibilities include:
- Performing psycho-educational assessments and interpreting results for educational planning
- Delivering individual and group counseling sessions to address students’ mental health and behavioral needs
- Consulting with interdisciplinary school teams to develop effective interventions and support plans
- Assisting in the creation of IEPs, monitoring progress, and advocating for students’ educational accommodations
- Providing crisis intervention services as needed and facilitating family outreach
