Make a meaningful difference supporting elementary students from pre-K through 5th grade as a School Psychologist on a contract basis for the upcoming school year. This hybrid opportunity includes both remote and in-person work, allowing for increased flexibility while contributing your expertise in a collaborative educational setting. The assignment is scheduled to run from August 6, 2026, through May 20, 2027. Participation in a preparatory psychological services meeting on July 29th is welcomed for those available to attend.
Key qualifications and qualities for success:
- Current state licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience or comfort working with elementary-aged children, including those with behavioral needs
- Ability to assess and address learning, behavioral, and emotional challenges
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, both with students and colleagues
- Comfortable managing responsibilities in both remote and in-person settings
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments
- Collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Developing, implementing, and monitoring individualized intervention plans
- Providing direct and consultative services to address behavioral and academic concerns
- Keeping accurate, confidential records and preparing detailed reports as needed
The hybrid work model offers two days per week remote and three days in-person, fostering both flexibility and a strong connection to the school community.
