Make a meaningful impact supporting students in grades Pre-K through 5 in a dynamic elementary school setting as a contract school psychologist for the 2026-2027 school year. This hybrid opportunity blends two remote days with three in-person days per week, offering flexibility while supporting young learners’ educational and behavioral growth. The role begins August 6, 2026, and extends through May 20, 2027. Candidates who are available are encouraged to attend a preparatory psychology staff meeting on July 29th.

You’ll work with a range of students, including those with behavioral needs, playing a vital role in shaping supportive learning environments and partnering closely with educators, families, and additional service providers.

Qualifications and Experience Desired:

  • Active license as a School Psychologist
  • Experience with elementary age populations, preferably Pre-K to 5th grade
  • Familiarity with behavioral interventions and positive behavior support plans
  • Strong assessment, counseling, and consultative skills
  • Collaborative approach and effective communication abilities with students, staff, and families
  • Ability to handle dynamic, changing caseloads

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological evaluations for students as needed
  • Develop and implement behavioral and academic interventions
  • Support individualized education planning and participate in IEP meetings
  • Consult with teachers, families, and support staff to promote student success
  • Contribute to a positive, inclusive school climate
  • Document progress and maintain thorough records
