Key Qualifications:
- Master’s or higher degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution
- Current and valid School Psychologist license/certification for Arizona
- Prior experience working with elementary-aged students preferred
- Strong knowledge of best practices in assessment, intervention, and counseling
- Exceptional communication and rapport-building skills with students, families, and staff
- Ability to manage a varied caseload and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments to identify individual student needs
- Develop and implement evidence-based interventions and behavior management strategies
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, contributing expertise for IEPs and 504 plans
- Offer support through individual and group counseling to address social, emotional, and behavioral concerns
- Collaborate with teachers and parents to design and monitor student progress plans
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, and confidential reports
