Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid state certification or eligibility as a School Psychologist
- Experience with psychoeducational evaluations, behavioral interventions, and counseling
- Familiarity with IEPs, 504 Plans, and special education procedures
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Passion for supporting diverse learners and advocating for student needs
- Previous school-based experience is preferred, but dedicated new graduates are encouraged to apply
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments
- Provide individual and group counseling to students
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop intervention strategies
- Participate in IEP meetings, eligibility conferences, and multidisciplinary teams
- Help design positive behavioral supports and crisis intervention plans
- Deliver training and consultation for school staff on mental health topics
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
