Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid state licensure/certification as a School Psychologist
- Background working with elementary-aged students
- Experience conducting evaluations, developing IEPs, and implementing interventions
- Knowledge of current best practices in school psychology
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to provide effective consultation to teachers and parents
- Completion of all district-required pre-employment screening, including fingerprinting if required
Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive assessments and interpret results to guide educational planning
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student achievement and well-being
- Consult with educators, administrators, and families to create supportive learning environments
- Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and preventative services as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings and assist with progress monitoring and documentation
- Contribute to data-driven decision-making and practice ethical standards in all professional activities
