School Psychologist in Minneapolis, MN

This assignment, covering two maternity leaves, runs from August 31, 2026, through December 18, 2026, and requires a skilled School Psychologist dedicated to evaluation, consultation, and direct student support.
In this 40-hour per week role, you'll provide psychological services by conducting assessments, developing and implementing IEP goals, and creating Positive Behavior Support Plans (PBSP) using Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA). Collaboration is central to this position; you'll work closely with educational staff, families, and administrators to promote student success while ensuring adherence to state and federal guidelines.
To thrive in this role, you should have:
- Active Minnesota School Psychologist certification or licensure.
- Experience participating in IEP development and PBSPs, particularly utilizing FBAs.
- Proficiency in interpreting and applying federal and state statutes, codes, rules, and regulations related to school-based psychological services.
- Exceptional communication and teamwork skills.
Responsibilities will include:
- Conducting psychological assessments and evaluations for students.
- Assisting in the design and implementation of IEPs.
- Formulating and supporting PBSPs using FBA data.
- Consulting with teachers, families, and administrators to facilitate positive student outcomes.
- Ensuring all practices comply with current educational laws and regulations.
