In this position, your expertise will be essential for conducting evaluations and assessments, providing crucial insights to inform individualized education planning and student support services.
Ideal candidates will have:
- Current certification and active School Psychologist licensure in North Carolina
- Experience working with students in elementary, middle, and/or high school settings
- Proven ability to manage and prioritize a full-time schedule, totaling 37.5 hours per week
- Strong skills in administering and interpreting assessments and evaluations
- Effective communication and collaboration with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- A commitment to promoting student growth, learning, and well-being
Key responsibilities include:
- Performing comprehensive evaluations and assessments for referred students
- Interpreting testing data and generating clear, actionable reports
- Participating in IEP meetings and collaborating on the development of student plans
- Consulting with teachers, administrators, and families to recommend strategies for academic and behavioral success
- Offering guidance and support relating to emotional, social, and behavioral needs
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines
