Certified School Psychologist | Naples, Florida
Exciting opportunity available for a Certified School Psychologist to collaborate with a supportive educational environment near Naples, FL for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time contract position is ideal for professionals who thrive in academic settings and are passionate about helping students succeed through comprehensive psychological services.
In this role, you will work 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday during standard school hours, providing a strong work-life balance. As a valued member of the school staff, you will utilize your expertise in assessments, support student development, and consult with educators and families for the well-being of the school community.
Qualifications:
- Current, active Florida Department of Health Psychologist License
- Experience administering and interpreting school-based psychological assessments
- Certification as a School Psychologist
- Previous experience within K-12 school settings preferred
- Strong communication and consultation skills
- Commitment to ethical practice and collaborative team environments
Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual evaluations to determine student eligibility for special education services
- Interpret psychological reports and contribute to IEP and 504 plan development
- Work closely with student support teams on interventions and progress monitoring
- Maintain detailed case records and documentation in compliance with state and district policies
- Provide crisis intervention and behavioral support as needed
- Serve as a resource for families and educators, offering guidance on student learning and behavior
