Qualifications and Experience:
- Hold a valid School Psychologist credential or state licensure appropriate for K-12 educational settings.
- Demonstrated experience or completed internship working as a School Psychologist in schools, providing services to students from kindergarten through high school.
- Deep knowledge of assessment tools, intervention strategies, and best practices in special education evaluation.
- Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills for partnering with educators, administrators, and parents.
- Ability to manage a flexible caseload, conduct evaluations, and advocate for student services as part of multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments, develop individual educational recommendations, and interpret results for planning student services.
- Consult regularly with teachers, staff, and families to identify needs and recommend evidence-based interventions.
- Provide direct counseling and crisis intervention for students experiencing academic, social, or emotional difficulties.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior plans.
- Support school-wide initiatives focused on positive behavioral supports and inclusive educational practices.
