Key Qualifications:
- Valid Connecticut Educator Certification, School Psychologist endorsement required
- Proven experience as a School Psychologist within a school setting strongly preferred
- Ability to conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments
- Skilled in developing and implementing IEPs and other support plans
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with students, staff, and parents
- Commitment to fostering a safe and supportive learning environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual student assessments to identify academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
- Participate in intervention planning, team meetings, and crisis response as needed
- Provide consultative services and direct support to students, teachers, and families
- Collaborate on the development of educational and behavioral support plans
- Maintain detailed documentation and uphold confidentiality standards
