Desired qualifications:
- CT Educator Certification required
- Experience working as a School Psychologist in K-12 settings
- Proficient in conducting assessments, creating IEPs, and delivering evidence-based interventions
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments and interpret results to guide educational planning
- Participate in IEP meetings, contribute to eligibility determinations, and update documentation as needed
- Provide individual and group counseling services to students
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support students' academic and emotional needs
- Deliver crisis intervention and consultation services as situations arise
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with district and state regulations
