School Psychologist - New Castle, Delaware

Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Delaware School Psychologist license (required for consideration)
- Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology or related field
- Prior experience in school settings preferred
- Strong assessment and counseling skills
- Ability to manage a multi-site caseload efficiently
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and develop actionable recommendations
- Provide individual and group counseling to address student needs
- Collaborate with educators, families, and interdisciplinary teams to design and implement interventions
- Support the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Participate in RTI/MTSS processes and crisis intervention as needed
- Maintain accurate records and prepare reports in compliance with district policies
- Serve as a resource for administrators, teachers, and families on student mental health and learning concerns
This role offers a contract commitment from the end of August through early June, following a traditional Monday through Friday schedule, with a 37.5-hour workweek. The proximity of the schools makes site transitions seamless, allowing you to focus on student support without excessive travel time.
