We are seeking a dedicated School Psychologist for a full-time contract role. You'll have the opportunity to collaborate with educators and families, helping young learners unlock their full potential and ensuring they receive the resources needed for a successful school experience.
In this role, you will work 37.5 hours per week, covering the school year from late August through early June. Your professional expertise will support students across the PreK grade range, making a meaningful impact at a foundational stage in their education.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s or doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field
- Valid and current School Psychologist licensure
- Previous experience working as a School Psychologist in a school setting, preferably with early childhood or PreK students
- Ability to conduct psychoeducational evaluations, interpret assessment data, and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Strong communication and rapport-building skills for collaboration with teachers, administrators, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive assessments and develop recommendations for students’ academic, social, and emotional needs
- Collaborate in multidisciplinary teams to create effective interventions and supports
- Contribute to the IEP process and participate in team meetings
- Consult with staff and parents to address learning or behavior concerns
- Support crisis management and provide counseling or referrals as needed
