Key Qualifications:
- Valid certification or license as a School Psychologist
- Experience conducting psychological and academic assessments in school settings
- Strong understanding of early childhood development and interventions
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive psychological services to PreK students, including assessment, counseling, and intervention
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop and implement student support plans
- Lead or participate in IEP meetings, ensuring appropriate educational recommendations
- Support the Response to Intervention (RTI) process by monitoring student progress and offering expertise on prevention, intervention, and crisis management
- Help create positive learning environments and foster students’ social-emotional growth
- Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with special education regulations
