Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a School Psychologist, providing support and guidance for young learners in a vibrant PreK school environment. This full-time position runs from late August through early June, aligning with the traditional academic calendar and offering the chance to make a substantial impact throughout the school year.
Ideal candidates will possess expertise in the field of school psychology with a strong background in assessment, intervention, and collaboration with both educators and families.
Desired Qualifications:
- Current certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Familiarity with Early Childhood/PreK student needs and developmental milestones
- Proficiency in conducting psychoeducational assessments and interpreting results
- Experience planning and implementing evidence-based interventions
- Strong communication and consultation skills with students, staff, and families
- Knowledge of IEP development and regulatory compliance
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations to identify student needs
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to support student growth and well-being
- Assist with the development, implementation, and monitoring of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for PreK students
- Facilitate interventions that address social, emotional, and behavioral challenges
- Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings and collaborate in developing effective supports
- Provide crisis intervention and support when necessary
- Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in accordance with school policies

- Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
- Contract dates: 8/24 – 6/11
- Work with the PreK student population in an engaging educational setting
