School Psychologist in Norfolk, VA

What you’ll need to succeed:
- Valid certification/license as a School Psychologist
- Professional experience with school-based psychological services
- Ability to conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations across K-12
- Familiarity with IEP development and participation in multidisciplinary team meetings
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Experience with VOCO/virtual service provision is highly desirable
- Flexibility regarding caseload (elementary, middle, or high school)—preferences are welcome and will be considered
Key responsibilities include:
- Performing assessments and evaluations to determine student needs
- Participating in IEP meetings and working collaboratively with educational teams
- Supporting students’ academic and emotional well-being
- Consulting with teachers, administrators, and families on intervention strategies
