Qualifications and Experience:
- Current and valid state licensure as a School Psychologist
- Certification to work with K-12 student populations (elementary, middle, and high school)
- Proven experience in conducting assessments, developing interventions, and collaborating on Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Comprehensive knowledge of applicable laws and confidentiality practices regarding special education
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to build rapport with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough psychological evaluations to support student learning and well-being
- Collaborate closely with teachers, counselors, and administrators to develop targeted intervention strategies
- Participate in and contribute to IEP meetings, ensuring each student's needs are addressed
- Provide both individual and group counseling to students as needed
- Create and deliver presentations or professional development on effective strategies for student success
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with school and district guidelines
