Qualifications & Experience:
- Current and valid certification or license as a School Psychologist
- Experience working within K-12 school settings, preferably covering elementary, middle, and high school populations
- Strong understanding of child development, learning disorders, and interventions
- Ability to conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized strategies
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Collaborative approach to teamwork with teachers, administrators, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments to inform student support plans
- Deliver evidence-based interventions and counseling for students
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to create inclusive, supportive learning environments
- Participate in IEP and 504 planning meetings, contributing specialized expertise
- Provide crisis intervention and behavioral consultation as needed
- Engage families in goal setting and progress discussions
- Maintain accurate records and comply with ethical standards in school psychology
