Desired Background & Skills:
- Certification and experience as a School Psychologist
- Previous work with early childhood to elementary-aged students preferred
- Comfortable collaborating across multiple sites/buildings
- Experience conducting eligibility assessments and facilitating multidisciplinary team meetings
- Proficiency or conversational skills in Spanish, Polish, or Arabic is a plus
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal abilities
- Adaptable and solution-oriented with a commitment to supporting diverse student needs
Daily Responsibilities:
- Provide school-based psychological services for students ages early childhood through 5th grade
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments for a broad array of disabilities
- Schedule and facilitate meetings with staff, parents, and other professionals as required
- Support the development and implementation of student plans and interventions
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to foster student success
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with relevant policies
- Offer input on best practices and support a positive school culture
