The assignment is based near Omaha, NE, and the role is available for immediate start, extending through the end of the 2026-2027 academic year.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid school psychologist license required
- Previous experience working with elementary school-aged children preferred
- Strong skills in assessment, counseling, and crisis intervention
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and school teams to support student success
- Commitment to providing services onsite only
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct psychological services and counseling to elementary school students
- Perform cognitive, academic, and behavioral assessments
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
- Consult with teachers and parents to address student learning and behavioral needs
- Participate in Response to Intervention (RTI) and Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) processes
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with district policies
