Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
- Proven experience delivering psychological assessments and interventions in a school environment
- Deep understanding of social, emotional, and academic development in children and adolescents
- Ability to interpret educational evaluations and contribute to individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Strong communication and consultation skills when working with students, staff, and families
- Comfortable working onsite within school hours for in-person support
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and communicate results effectively to stakeholders
- Support the identification and implementation of appropriate interventions for students with a variety of learning or behavioral needs
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Offer one-on-one and group counseling, crisis intervention, and guidance as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to promote a positive learning environment
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with state and federal guidelines
