Desired Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist license or certification
- Experience working with elementary-age students in PreK-8th grade settings
- Strong assessment, counseling, and consultative skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other professionals
- Knowledge of individualized education plans (IEPs), 504 plans, and special education processes
- Excellent organizational and communication abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct student evaluations and assessments to support learning and behavioral needs
- Provide direct support and interventions for students as needed
- Collaborate with staff and families to develop student-centered strategies
- Contribute to IEP/504 meetings and help create evidence-based plans
- Promote a safe and supportive school climate
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school guidelines
- Serve as a resource for crisis intervention and prevention
This contract role offers full-time hours (37.5 per week, schedule varies by school calendar), with no hybrid or remote work. Start and end times are school-specific—for example, Intermediate school hours are from 8:20 a.m. to 3:55 p.m., and Middle school from 7:40 a.m. to 3:15 p.m.
