Desired Qualifications:
- Current certification or license as a School Psychologist (state credentials required)
- Previous experience in school settings, preferably K-12
- Strong knowledge of psychological assessments, learning disabilities, and intervention techniques
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with staff, students, and families
- Ability to manage caseloads, documentation, and sensitive situations effectively
- Flexibility and a proactive approach to meeting diverse student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational and behavioral assessments for students referred for evaluation
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in coordination with special education teams
- Provide counseling, conflict resolution, and crisis intervention as needed
- Assist with the creation of positive behavioral supports and school-wide mental health programs
- Consult with teachers and administrators to identify and address students’ academic, behavioral, and social challenges
- Maintain thorough records and documentation in compliance with legal and district guidelines
