Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current New Mexico Public Education Department (NM PED) license as a School Psychologist
- Experience working in a school-based setting with K-12 students
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Strong organizational, communication, and assessment skills
- Comfortable using virtual platforms for meetings and collaboration
Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and provide recommendations to support student academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
- Collaborate with staff and families to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver counseling, crisis intervention, and consultation services as needed
- Maintain thorough records and reports in accordance with state and district guidelines
- Participate in virtual panel interviews and adhere to timely onboarding requirements, including background checks
