Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master's or Specialist degree in School Psychology or related field
- Valid state licensure or eligibility as a School Psychologist
- Strong assessment, intervention, and counseling skills
- Experience administering standardized tests and interpreting results
- Proficiency in developing and implementing IEPs and 504 Plans
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Compassionate, detail-oriented, and committed to supporting student success
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments
- Provide direct intervention and counseling services to students individually or in groups
- Participate in the development and review of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), contributing valuable insights and recommendations
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to design and implement evidence-based supports
- Assist in crisis prevention and intervention efforts as needed
- Deliver staff training on topics like behavior management and mental health awareness
- Maintain accurate documentation and records in accordance with regulations and policies
