Embark on a fulfilling contract opportunity as a School Psychologist, supporting students and educators for the 2026-2027 academic year. This full-time position runs from September through the school year, offering you the chance to make a meaningful impact as part of a vibrant educational community. You’ll work from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM daily, providing expert psychological services across a diverse K-12 caseload, nurturing the well-being and success of students in 10 classrooms with a total of 70-80 students.
Key Qualifications:
- State licensure as a School Psychologist (or eligibility)
- Graduate degree in School Psychology or related field
- Prior experience in a school setting strongly preferred
- Skilled in conducting psychoeducational assessments and re-evaluations
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive re-evaluations for all assigned students
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to monitor student progress and recommend interventions
- Maintain thorough documentation and prepare legally compliant reports
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing insight based on assessment findings
- Advocate for student needs while upholding best practices and ethical standards
- Foster positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues
