Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Current, valid Pennsylvania School Psychologist certification
- Previous experience working in an educational or school-based setting preferred
- Strong understanding of psychological evaluations, assessments, and intervention planning
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, teachers, and administrators
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and record-keeping skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments to identify student strengths and needs
- Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings to develop IEPs and intervention plans
- Provide direct and indirect support to students through counseling, consultation, and crisis intervention
- Collaborate with educators and parents to develop effective behavior and academic interventions
- Assist with the implementation of positive behavior supports and preventative programs
- Maintain thorough, accurate, and confidential student records in compliance with policies and regulations
