Make a meaningful difference supporting students at the junior high level with a contract opportunity for a licensed School Psychologist. With a start date as soon as possible extending through November 1, 2026, you'll collaborate with educators, families, and administrators to implement evidence-based interventions and support systems.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Must possess an active School Psychologist license for Ohio
- Previous experience working in a school setting required
- Background working with junior high or adolescent populations is preferred
- Strong communication, consultation, and collaborative skills
- Ability to conduct psychoeducational assessments, write clear reports, and participate in team meetings
- Commitment to fostering inclusive and supportive learning environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect psychological services to junior high students
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments, interpret results, and make recommendations for educational planning
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other support staff to design and implement individualized interventions
- Participate in IEP meetings, consultation, and crisis intervention when necessary
- Serve as a resource for staff development and parent education relating to student social-emotional well-being
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all state and district guidelines
