Qualifications and Experience:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience conducting comprehensive evaluations and interpreting assessment data
- Strong ability to develop and implement interventions for individual students and groups
- Familiarity with creating and participating in IEP meetings and 504 plan development
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to partner with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to work effectively with students from diverse backgrounds and varying needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual assessments to evaluate academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Develop strategies and interventions to support student growth and enhance learning outcomes
- Collaborate closely with staff and families to facilitate communication and recommend evidence-based practices
- Participate in the development, review, and monitoring of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Support crisis interventions and contribute to school-wide initiatives that foster safe, positive environments
- Stay current with best practices and legal requirements in school psychology
