Make a meaningful impact supporting students’ educational journeys as a contract School Psychologist in the upcoming 2026–2027 school year. This onsite position is perfect for a dedicated professional eager to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and families to ensure the academic, social, and emotional well-being of students from preschool through grade 12. While the specific building assignment will be determined, your expertise will contribute directly to special education services and evaluations within a diverse educational environment.
What We're Looking For:
- Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology (or equivalent)
- Michigan Department of Education approval as a School Psychologist
- Experience with special education evaluations for students across a wide age range
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with various teams and families
- Flexibility and adaptability in role and responsibilities as needed
Your Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and special education evaluations in compliance with state and federal requirements
- Work closely with teachers, staff, and parents to develop and implement support strategies and interventions tailored to individual student needs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to determine eligibility and services for special education
- Ensure timely completion and documentation of all evaluation results and required reports
- Adjust role or focus as needed to best serve the evolving needs of the student community
